The Holidays!!!!

Charlie was a skunk for Halloween, which was incredibly humorous because when we took him out of the costume he smelt like a skunk. Margot had a blast!! She was RED. She is getting to that age where things are really exciting for her. We are really looking forward to the Christmas lights at the Temple. Christmas is going to be a really special experience for Margot. I hope! Charlie is too much fun and loves his sister. It's not difficult to get him to smile.

The best 4th ever!

We had the best 4th ever.  Margot dressed up on the 4th and we went to watch fireworks. It was great to see my husband have so much fun on the 3rd lighting fireworks and being so happy. I think the entire neighborhood at my sisters house came to watch Matt. I have never seen such well behaved children before! All 25 of them were watching patiently on the grass as Matt lit off the best home fireworks ever. The company was great also. Charlie is 31 days old and is growing fast. Margot loves her brother and well we sure love him too.

HOME

The Family is altogether! We had quite the negative experience at the NICU. During the feeding intervals for Charlie bonding was nearly impossible and incredibly brief. In Rexburg I was allowed to check Margot's temperature and hold her. Up until this point I have not reminisced much about Rexburg. Even the experience I had giving birth in Rexburg was amazing in comparison to my experience with Charlie. Don't get me wrong I loved my Doctor but I now have tons of respect for the way in which I was treated before and during my c-section in Rexburg. But we are home now and had a great last day. Thanks to everyone for the support especially Jeff and Mary during the NICU drama. In any case, Margot loves Charlie so far but did not go to sleep this evening. mmmmmm I think she was a little too interested in what Charlie was doing. It's going to be an adventure...

Baby Charles

Baby Charles off the ventilator! I love this picture of him. Margot still has not been able to see her new brother. We all can't wait to bring him home. At the moment the only person she misses is Syd the Dog. She stands at the french doors with her face pressed against the glass, saying"Sydddddaaaaa".The other picture is my new favorite picture.

Charles my little brother is here!!!!!!!!!!

Charles ???? Zollinger my brother was born at 7:58 am. He will be in the NICU for a week or so. I am a bit sad I can't hold and cuddle with my little brother. Luckily my parents and Grandma Dixie got to hold him for a bit before he went into the NICU. As far a my life goes, I have been very occupied with life as of late, getting ready for my new brother. Many of you may want to know how he is doing via my blog, but I regret to inform you that I am unable to keep up with this blog. My SYd Dog needs quite a bit of attention and I spend the majority of my time organizing the house. Thus, I am turning my blog over to my parents. Farewell and thank you all for your devotion. El Margot signing off for good.

Fun Activities!!!

My parents have been taking me out to do various activities before my little brother arrives on the scene. I have been going to the park to play ball with my Syd Dog, eat yogurt, and of course see some of my cousins. Yesterday my parents took me to the Children’s museum and I had a blast! I played with my cousin Reagan, Jackson, and Harry. The boys put on a play for me about a princess in love with a warrior. I think my favorite part of the museum was riding in the helicopter with my Dad. I am now thinking of a career as a pilot.

CMZ or CBZ ?????

Lately I have been getting into many new and exciting things. I love to explore the contents of the house and reorganize everything for my parents. I have learned how to say two words, Syd Dog and Love You. The new sign I am learning this week is please. I still say Drink, Book, Dad, Dog, Cookie, Love You, but my Mother decided that PLEASE would be the most important out of all the signs. We are getting close to having Charlie in our life and are really excited! We are still deciding on a middle name. A CMZ name or a CBZ name. Melvin or a name we are thinking that starts with a B. We may have to wait to see what he looks like. If we do a CMZ then we are stuck forever with CMZ. SO CBZ may be the winner.
